We shot some food product photography for Yorkshire based bakery, Haywood & Padgett Ltd’s new product launch Halo – a variety of healither steamed donuts. Haywood and Padgett gave us a simple brief of needing “fun” images of their products to present the new product launch in an important presentation to a large retailer. We were trusted with the creative direction on this shoot, as we have worked with the large bakery previously.
The shoot was a full day shoot, capturing single food product photography, product group photos and creative campaign photography.
Shoot Length – 8 Hours
We decided to go with a carnival theme. We thought of the donuts you enjoy at theme parks and carnivals and we know how fun they can be! With the theme as creative direction, we brought the products to live by capturing a variety of images, using colourful backgrounds to portray a fresh and fun feel, and used simple and minimal props so the focus of the photo was always on the product.
