In what has been a hectic, busy year, July and August have been no different! We wouldn’t change it for the world though as we love capturing creative photography for our subscription and ad-hoc clients.
From restaurants to labs and shoes to supplements, it’s been a real mixture of work over the last couple of months. To see exactly what we’ve been up to in July and August, just keep scrolling…
Archform Byte – Labs and Headshots
Archform Byte is one of our valued subscriptions clients. The objective of this shoot was to showcase their specialist facility and give a behind the scenes look into the process of making the product and show the team at work.
The shots we captured shows details of every step of the process. From the initial wire bending to packaging the products, ready for delivery.
We wanted to achieve a mixture of shots, involving the team, some focusing on the products being made and of course, headshots.
It was important to demonstrate that Archform Byte products are personal and handmade especially for each client.

El Pastor Concorde – Architecture Shoot
For this month’s Concorde BGW shoot we headed down to London for a half-day on-location shoot. Collette and Abbie’s aim was to capture the upstairs El Pastor restaurant and downstairs bar. Showcasing the moody atmosphere by capturing wide-angle and close-up shots. If you didn’t catch it, Collette documented the journey and day on her Instagram.

Kate Grosvenor – Personal Branding Shoot
We headed over to Kate Grosvenor’s beautiful home to capture a mixture of shots and scenarios around her home and garden. It’s always a pleasure to work with this subscription client as Kate is really fun to work with and energetic during the shoot! She always has lots of ideas and knows her brand.

Lucy Carney – Fitness Shoot
This post-competition photoshoot celebrated Lucy’s hard work after she competed in the bikini category. For the shoot, the Muscle Unit Gym was the perfect location.

Portfolio Work – Fitness Product Shoot
We wanted to create more fitness product images that involved CGI. Our aim was to create something that was more interesting than just using a coloured background and we did exactly that in our Barnsley based studio.

VI Creative – Commercial Product Shoot
For this subscription client, we used our Barnsley studio to capture white background commercial images which showcased the products.

East Coast Fitness Festival – Fitness Festival
We were proud to sponsor the East Coast Fitness Festival, in which our founder, Collette competed. One of the aims was to capture her throughout the day. She did amazingly and won all 3 of her categories and the whole team was there to see her win! We had Abbie photographing whilst Matthew and Tommy were capturing video. One of the main aims of the event was to capture the day but our main goal was to capture the bodybuilding competition. We also wanted to take some behind the scenes shots of the competitors getting ready (including all the nitty-gritty details!) Get a behind the scenes peek at what we got up to by watching the video below.

Melanie Priestly – Fitness Shoot
This shoot was performed at Barnsley Barbell. We wanted to capture Melanie’s hard work and showcase her in action which is why we incorporated equipment into the photos.

Fitness Tech – Portfolio Shoot
We captured an assortment of fitness tech for our portfolio. This shoot partly took place on location and the items included Joseph Joseph portable scales. Collette recommends this particular item as all her food is weighed out and these scales are perfect due to their portability and lightweight.

Adrienne Midgley – Fitness Shoot
This photoshoot for Adrienne Midgley took place at House of Gain and Locke Park. The dual locations allowed us to a wide range of unique images for Adrienne.

Collette Personal Branding – Portfolio/ Personal Branding Shoot
We headed over to Collette’s house for a lifestyle kitchen shoot. The objective was to capture a mix of ‘before work prep’ and ‘fitness prep’ images. We featured Solgar products, Collette’s favourite supplement brand (which she takes around 20 daily). Additionally, CNP products were photographed. CNP is a sports supplement and nutrition brand and Collette regularly uses their Isolate and pre-workout products.
